1. To insert PDFs and link them to text or pictures, highlight the text or select the picture, then click on the Insert/Edit Link button.

2. Click on the Browse Server button, and in the new pop-up window, click Add a File. This allows you to select the PDF you wish to upload from your computer.

(You can also create folders and subfolders to easily organize your PDFs to find them next time.)

3. Hit the Upload File button, then click on the uploaded file. This will automatically insert the PDF’s link into the URL field in the original Edit/Insert Link pop-up window. Hit OK, and you’ve now linked a PDF to text or a picture. Please make sure that your PDF follows these guidelines:

  • It is in PDF format
  • Does not have any spaces or special characters (!@#$%*+) in the file name
Different web browsers open PDF files differently. For example, by default, Internet Explorer & Safari will open PDF files within the browser window that you are working in. Firefox, on the other hand, will open PDFs in a separate browser window or tab. To set a PDF file to always open in a separate browser window, you will want to click on the link to your PDF, navigate to the Target tab, and select New Window (_blank) from the drop-down menu.
The WineDirect platform does not offer a download option for PDF files on your website. Visitors wishing to save a PDF will open the PDF file and save it to their personal computer.
